The Come-Back Statement

Time does fly is quite true. We're nearly one week into the srping of 97, almost a year after I graduated from the University of Washington, and it's already half past 10 tonight...

Darn, can we lobby for 30 hours a day? Or am I asking to much?

The gist is, it has been quite a while since I last logged on, and lots of things have changed since my last departure. For those who still cares about me, I was working at the Weyerhaeuser for some time, until my working visa expired, and I had to get back to Bristol, England for a while.

But you see, I am the come-back girl :-), and now I am back in the States again (legally of course), and searching to be employed.

For the moment, I live in an obscure part of the Oregon State, near Meford (I'm sure it's on the map somewhere). I'm still new to the surroundings, but once I am settled down, maybe I'll send out a couple of postcards for those who ask for it.

Meanwhile, however, I'm still here, and while things are still sane, won't you....

Enter my library?

Oh, come on. I bet you haven't cracked open a novel since your last book report was due back in lower sixth (junior high for the Americans), unless maybe you got lucky and had a freshman English teacher who assigned you Steven King's Christine and looked amused when you , somehow, couldn't quite get pass the not-quite-sex-scene in Chapter 10.

It's amazing how much you can fit into a library: books, mags, computers, plants, etc. If you're good at Tetris. It's also amazing how much I can fit in my suitcase, as any Super Shuttle drive I've paid will tell you.

So, nothing much left to say except for the usual: If you have any suggestions, or just want to point out a typo^H^H^H^Hnew word I invented, click on the email link below and let me hear from you!
